*SUPER-LIFE MOCHA – Super-Life Mocha is the longest lasting brown mulch available! It is made exclusively for MULCH MART, so it is only available through us. It is made from 100% oak and has a nice even texture that is a mixture of chips and shreds. We achieve a rich milk chocolaty color using the highest quality colorant available, so it won’t fade very quickly at all. In fact, we guarantee that the color will last spring through fall without fading! This product will be 2 to 3 times longer lasting than a typical shredded mulch.

*SUPER-LIFE RED - AVAILABLE SPRING 2010 – Super-Life Red is part of the landscaping at many commercial properties as well as residential homes across the Kansas City Metro area. It is the longest lasting red mulch in town! It has been made exclusively for MULCH MART, so it is only available through us. It is made from 100% oak and has a nice even texture that is a mixture of chips and shreds. *MOCHA BOLD – Mocha Bold has also been custom designed for MULCH MART. Like Super-Life Mocha, it is made from 100% oak and is very similar in texture. Mocha Bold, however, is mostly chips, and it has the color of a dark chocolate candy bar. It will also last 2 to 3 times longer than a typical shredded product.

*Note: MULCH MART recommends to every customer ordering a colorized product for delivery, that they have a tarp laid out on their driveway where the mulch is to be dropped. If the mulch is delivered without a tarp down, it will stain your driveway.

DOUBLE GROUND PREMIUM OAK – This is an oak bark product that has been ground twice to create a very even carpet-like texture when laid out, and it is a very dark brown color. Because of its fine texture, it decomposes at a higher rate than normal shredded mulches, and will quickly add nutrients back into the soil.

PREMIUM OAK - AVAILABLE SPRING 2010 – Premium Oak is a medium brown mulch made from the bark of the oak tree. Because of its coarse texture it is a good product for sloped areas. Also because of its coarse texture it will not decompose quite as quickly as the Double Ground Premium Oak.

WHITE OAK – AVAILABLE SPRING 2010 - White oak is made 100% from the core of the white oak tree, and it is a light tan color. This is the most economical mulch we sell, but it is still a top quality product. We do not use any filler material or pallets to make any of our products, including White Oak. They all come straight from the tree.

EASTERN IVORY CEDAR – This aromatic Cedar is the most insect resistant mulch we carry, and it is made 100% from Cedar. It has natural oils in the wood that help repel insects such as ticks, fleas, chiggers, ants, termites, and many more. It is a light golden blond color with small red pieces throughout.

CEDAR/CYPRESS BLEND – This product is approximately 60% Eastern Ivory Cedar and 40% Cypress Gold. It combines the qualities of the two products to make a product that is better on slopes and longer lasting then the Cedar and more insect resistant then the Cypress.

CYPRESS GOLD – Cypress Gold is a Grade A Cypress product, meaning that it is made from 100% Cypress. Many Cypress products that are available elsewhere are a lower grade, meaning that they are mixed with other types of light colored wood. Because of this, the Cypress Gold will last longer, retain more moisture, stick to slopes better, and repel insects more than other lower grade cypress products. Because of its texture and its ability to retain moisture, it is a great product to put on slopes.

NATURE'S PINE – Nature's Pine is a light brown pine bark that has been aged, so it is rich in nitrogen and nutrients. The aging process makes this product a composted mulch, so it has a very fine texture and it is ready to begin putting nutrients into the soil right away. It also retains a lot of moisture, which is very good for the soil. This is the healthiest mulch that MULCH MART carries!

STANDARD WOODCHIP – Standard Woodchip is a large, light colored, single chipped product that are mainly used for walking paths and dog runs. Because of their size, they decompose VERY slowly.

KIDDIE KUSHION – Kiddie Kushion is the softest playground material we offer. It is made 100% from the White Oak tree and is double-chipped. This means that it is a consistent texture of chips about the size of a nickel with some small shreds. It has been safety tested and is guaranteed to meet any safety requirements for Missouri and Kansas when installed at the appropriate depth. This product can be blown in using our Express Blower Truck.

FIBERCHIP– Fiberchip is made 100% from the White Oak tree and is double-chipped. This means that it is a consistent texture of chips about the size of a nickel.
